This year marks the 30th edition of the traditional Easter sports programme.

On Saturday 8 April, the 30th Bunny Run will take place at the Nyíregyháza Athletic Centre. At the press conference leading up to the event, Richárd Kőhalmi, CEO of the Nyíregyháza Sports Centre, and László Dajka, the main organiser, presented the details.

- With one or two exceptions, the stadium hosted the race, but last year it was moved to a new venue, the Athletics Centre, said Richárd Kőhalmi. - My colleagues are preparing the event with great enthusiasm. We are looking forward to welcoming you all to our big leisure sports event to kick off the series of events we are planning this year. I look forward to brightening up the Easter of many families!

Participants can run 400m distances, there will be separate races for toddlers, primary school children and upper primary school children, and families (one adult and one child) can also compete. László Dajka stressed that the main purpose of the event is to have fun and enjoy the experience, as well as to move. All children will receive a gift and a raffle. The programme will include a bouncy castle, the Rabbit Express, a candy cannon, Pancsi the Clown and a surprise.

The programme starts at 10 am. It is important to note that bad weather will not prevent the event from taking place, as the run and all the other accompanying activities will be organised indoors at the Athletics Centre.
