Attila Molnár has once again written his name in the history of Hungarian athletics after winning the European title in the 400m at the European Indoor Championships in the Netherlands. He won the gold medal with an outstanding performance in 45.48 seconds.

The Nyíregyháza Athletics Centre congratulates Attila Molnár and his club, the FTC, who were among the first to visit us for a training camp. He also broke the men's 400m short track national record in Nyíregyháza at the open indoor competition in January 2024. In this event, he set a time of 46.22 seconds, breaking the record of 46.37 seconds set by Tamás Molnár from Nyíregyháza in 1990.

The Nyíregyháza Athletics Centre is proud to have been part of this success story and hopes to welcome Attila Molnár back to Nyíregyháza soon!
