The Municipality of Nyíregyháza and the Nyíregyháza Sportcentrum Nonprofit Kft. are organizing the tenth anniversary of the Nyíregyháza Senior Citizens Sports Meeting.
The aim of the event is to encourage active movement, community experiences and sporting challenges for the over-60s. The sports meeting will take place over two days, with different venues and competitions.
Venues and dates:
21 May 2025 (Wednesday) | 9:00 - 12:00
- Municipal Stadium - Bowling and basket throwing
22 May 2025 (Thursday) | 9:00 a.m.
- Nyíregyháza Athletics Centre - other events
Important information:
- Only persons over 60 years old are allowed to participate. When registering, the year of birth must be indicated on the attached flyer.
- Deadline for entries: 15 May 2025.
- Participants in table sports (e.g. chess, table tennis) are not allowed to compete in any other event.
- Those participating in Wednesday's bowling and basketball throwing may still compete in other events on Thursday.
- Entry lists can be sent by e-mail or hand-delivered to the Continental Arena (room 165, first floor).
- The organizers will also hold an information meeting at the Continental Arena in the near future, the exact date of which will be announced later.
The meeting is a great opportunity for exercise, relaxation and community building - all active seniors are welcome!
