Athletes specializing in jumping events will be training at the Nyíregyháza Athletics Center between July 17 and 25, 2025. The excellent facilities have once again become a popular venue for training, as athletes from several clubs have chosen the Nyíregyháza center as their summer training location.
Five athletes from the Vasas SC athletics department – Lilianna Bátori, Árpád Bánóczy, Bálint Zsolnay, Blanka Macsali and Patrik Bundschu – arrived with their coach, Balázs Kun-Szabó, on July 17 and will stay until the 23rd. Bori Rózsahegyi, a competitor from Tatabánya Sport Club, is also training in Nyíregyháza during the same period. Her preparation is supervised by Tamás Kiss, who is the head of the jumping section of the Hungarian Athletics Federation and currently works as an athletics coach in Germany, where he is also training Bori.
On July 20, GEAC competitor Kriszt Sarolta joined the group, while between July 21 and 25, Lalik Petra, Röczei Gréta and Gál Nikolett, competing for DVTK, will also be training on site under the guidance of their coach, Gergely Majkut.
The athletes will take advantage of the full range of services offered by the Nyíregyháza Athletics Center to perform technical and strength training, as well as utilizing the recreational opportunities available on site for faster regeneration. The aim of the camp is to improve endurance, refine competition-specific movements and refine the technical elements of jumping events.
