The exciting athletics season culminates on Saturday when the Nyíregyháza Athletics Centre hosts the Nyíregyháza Open Indoor Track and Field Competition.

The competition will attract the best athletes from many countries, including representatives from Bosnia, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Greece and Slovenia.

One of the most anticipated events will be the women's 400m, where Maja Ciric of Serbia and Andrea Miklós of Romania will battle it out. The men's 200m will be contested by Croatia's Karlo Marciuš and Attila Molnár of Hungary.

The international event of the Nyíregyháza Sports Centre attracted a huge turnout. A total of 573 entries were received, 182 of them from athletes from abroad. Hungary is represented by 31 excellent clubs, including the Nyíregyházi Sportcentrum, who are preparing feverishly, relying on the advantages of the home track.

NYSC athletes will represent Hungary in a number of categories. In the men's 60 m race, talents such as Bence Boros will be competing, while Balázs Tóth will be showing his strength in the throwing circle. Ráka Szilágyi in the 400 metres and Flora Tilki in the 800 metres will be on the track during the competition.

Among the women's triple jumpers, the excellence of Dr Abiwu-Türk Bettina and Petra Nyisztor shines. Among the competitors are a number of outstanding athletes who will give their all for victory.

The NYSC athletes will compete in a number of events, and home fans can be sure that every member of the team will be fighting for victory to the last breath. The Nyíregyháza Open Indoor Track and Field Competition will be an exciting and memorable event not only for the athletes, but also for the fans and those interested in the sport.
