In our previous article we have already discussed the participation figures. A total of 573 entries have been received for the Nyíregyháza Open Indoor Track and Field Competition, which will be held on 20 and 27 January 2024 at the Nyíregyháza Athletics Centre, starting at 12:00.
The number of foreign participants is 182, while the number of Hungarian clubs is 31, including the athletes of the Nyíregyháza Sports Centre.
In the men's 60m race 87 participants will compete, including such top athletes as Kende Balázs, Bence Boros, Ádám Jenei, Szabolcs Kovács, Zsombor Nagy, László Péter and Zalán Tarnóczi.
In the men's 200m race, we can look for 78 entries, hoping to see NYSC athletes such as Bálint Görömbei, Szabolcs Kovács, Nagy Zombor and András Pintér at the top.
The women's 60m race promises exciting moments with 65 entrants. NYSC's Dóra Bogár, Edina Bálint, Petra Gráf, Judit Hegedüs Zorka Judit, Anita Lili Kovács, Kata Körmendi Anna and Réka Körmendi will be among the fans' cheering fans.
In the women's 200m race, Anita Kovács Lili, Anna Körmendi Kata, Berta Moravszki and Gitta Németh will be among the 61 competitors. We hope that our cheers will help them cross the finish line.
We are counting on the support of the spectators and hope that the number of medals will be almost uncountable!
Admission is free, everyone is welcome on Saturday, starting at 12:00.
