One of the most important events in Hungarian athletics, the 51st Hungarian Indoor Athletics Championships in Nyíregyháza! The competition promises to be a thrilling event, as the best athletes of the country compete for the championship titles.

The competition is organised by the Hungarian Athletics Federation and the Nyíregyháza Sportcentrum Nonprofit Kft.

The aim of the championships is to decide the indoor championship titles again this year and to give the competitors the opportunity to assess their preparedness for international competitions. The competition is also a great opportunity for athletics fans to watch some of the country's greatest athletes up close.

The winners of each event will be awarded the title of "Hungary's Indoor Champion 2025", a prestigious title among athletes. The results may also serve as a basis for future international qualifications.

Competition numbers
The programme includes a variety of sprint, long distance, jumping and throwing events. Athletes can test their speed from 60 m to 5000 m, while the high jump, pole vault, long jump and weight throw events focus on technical fitness.

Competitors from Nyíregyháza
Hungarian competitors are also in with a chance. Prominent contenders include Balázs Tóth (weight throw), László Péter (60 m), Márk Vörös (1500 m, 3000 m), Péter Bakosi (high jump), Flóra Tilki (400 m) and the women's 4x400 m relay team.

Who else will we see
The best athletes in the country will also take part. Among the sprinters, Dominik Illovszky (60 m) and Boglárka Takács (60 m), Dániel Eszes (200 m) and one of the favourites in the 400 m, Patrik Simon Enyingi, stand out. In the long distance, Balázs Vindics and Anna Vindics-Tóth Lili Vindics are the main favourites for the gold medal. Anna Tóth (60 m hurdles) is also worth watching.

The technical events are also expected to be extremely exciting. Tamás Kéri and Marcell Nagy are favourites in pole vault, Lilianna Bátori in high jump and László Szabó in long jump.
