The U10-12 Nyíregyháza Cup, held on 2 November 2024 at the Athletics Centre in Nyíregyháza, aimed to encourage young athletes to compete in accordance with the new competition rules for 2025.
The competition was organised by the Nyíregyháza Vasutas Sport Club. The deadline for entries was 28 October and there were no pre-entry requirements for participants. Competitors were required to have a valid membership book, a sports medical license and a MSSZ competition license card.
The events included the long jump, medicine ball throw and weightlifting (snatch and push). The competition was awarded with medals for the 1st-IIIrd place and a medal for the 4th-6th place.
During the procedure, the competitors were pre-ranked in the weight categories they entered. The new proposals and changes to the age groups around the sport of weightlifting were also aimed at safeguarding the healthy development of children.
