Movement, games, and friendly competition filled the Nyíregyháza Athletics Center, where the youngest athletes could test their skills as part of the Kids' Athletics Program.

The aim of the program, launched by the Hungarian Athletics Federation, is to introduce 6-10 year olds to the basics of athletics – running, jumping and throwing – in a playful way, while developing their motor skills and strengthening their love of sport.

Students from several schools took part in the event in Nyíregyháza, where they experienced the joy of community sports through a variety of age-appropriate activities. The event was also an excellent opportunity to nurture young talent, as it was the first encounter with the world of athletics for many of the children.

The Kid to Athlete Program not only promotes sports, but also contributes to helping as many young people as possible become active, healthy adults.
