A record number of entries were received for the 21 January event.
A total of 385 athletes from 37 clubs are competing, with athletes from Denmark, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine and Macedonia. The Nyíregyháza Sportcentrum will be represented by 41 athletes who will be competing for the top places. Entrance to Saturday's athletics competition is free of charge. The women's 60m flat will start at 12 noon.
