The training camp for the Hungarian national 400m flat runners started on 1 May at the Nyíregyháza Athletics Centre.
During the several days of preparation, the athletes took part in intensive training sessions to get in shape for the upcoming competition season. One of the outstanding participants of the camp was Attila Molnár, who together with his coach prepared for the challenges of the season in our city. The open training sessions provided an opportunity for the local public to watch the national team athletes at work, gaining an insight into the everyday life of professional athletes.
The Nyíregyháza Athletics Centre provided excellent conditions for training, contributing to the athletes' efficient training. The city's sports-loving public enthusiastically welcomed the members of the national team and followed the open training sessions.
The athletes have since returned home, but the memories of their days here and the results of their work will have a lasting impact. We look forward to continuing to bring similar events to our city's sporting scene in the future.
